Summer School Schedules and Procedures
2010 Summer School Term
June 21st - July 23rd
Summer School Schedules will be sent to enrolled students the week of June 7th. Those enrolling after June 7th will be handed schedules at the time of registration.
Independence Day Holiday: No school on Monday, July 5th.
Progress Reports will be mailed the week of July 12th.
Class Credit may not be given if a student is absent from a class for more than two (2) days. Please note: requests for extended absences are not recommended, especially for those taking Advancement Courses. Please plan vacations or club sport activities around, not during, summer school.
Five-unit classes meet for 2 ½ hours. Ten-unit classes meet for 5 hours.
Daily Schedule: Period 1 7:30 - 10:00
Break 10:00 - 10:10
Period 2 10:15 - 12:45
Finals (July 23rd): Period 1 7:30 - 8:45
Period 2 8:50 - 10:05
All students must be present for Final Exams on Friday, July 23rd.
Disciplinary Procedures can be found on pages 23 and 24 of the Damien Student-Parent Handbook. Any student dismissed from summer school for disciplinary reasons, or more than two days of absence, will forfeit tuition and class credit.
